Finca Las Morenas

Sierra de las Nieves

The Sierra de las Nieves, recently given National Park status, is a natural paradise in the heart of the Baetic Cordillera of Andalucía.  The special status has been granted due to the unique biogeography of the area, the fauna and flora – of which includes a thriving population of Mouflon (wild sheep) – and the largest area of Pinsapo (Spanish Fir) forest remaining in Spain.

The park itself has no human habitation and is consequently little affected by agriculture.  This has allowed the proliferation of a rich variety of indigenous plants and animals.
